Thanks, Brian, for taking the time to explain again how it all works. You're right, it does make sense in terms of how Rainmeter works, it just doesn't in terms of what the user would logically expect from the above. I suspected it was related to the before initialization parsing (similar to Lua and occasional initial errors there) but I didn't know it would fall back to the not initialized number value instead of the string one. I guess this - and not some more user logical reason - is why incrementing Calcs work. Not that much a solid base to rely on, but well, it's how it works.

In the end I used a variable instead of the [Enum] measure and that works as I expect it too, but would have preferred a measure, because it can take a longer string from the tests made in another of my threads in this section in the past. Luckily, for now, I only use fractional numbers as 'items' in the 'enumeration', so hopefully it won't break any limit for a potential 1920 × 1080 × 10 chars in the string from the variable... :???:
