Help: Rainmeter Skins • Re: wrong Disk size for OneDrive

Hi there,

i've got a problem with the Illustro Disk Skin.
In 2022 i configured the disk skin, with 6 drives, and it works.
Now i have the problem, the size of OneDrive is showing wrong values.
It looks like it shows the values of drive C:\.
In the Screenshot you can see drive C:\ and O:\ with the same size.
Drive O:\ values only shows up when i open the drive (I have to login to the drive).

Config and Screenshot are in the attachments.

Hope there is anyone how can help.

cya, Sven
The problem is that OneDrive is not "drive". It is not a physical or logical device, so you are not going to be able to monitor it like a normal drive.

I assume you've done the usual trick of using SUBST (or perhaps NET USE) to map an "O:" drive to the OneDrive folder on your C: drive. If so, you should not be surprised that the drive size is exactly the same as your C: drive... it IS your C: drive. This would happen if you mapped any folder on C: to a drive letter.

If you want to find the size of your OneDrive in the cloud, that is a completely different thing and requires a completely different approach. If you just want to see the size of the files you have synced locally, then you need to use the FolderInfo plugin, or a PowerShell command or similar command-line tool to query the size of the folder and all its subfolders. Neither of these options has anything to do with physical or logical hard drives, which is what that Rainmeter skin is showing you.
